I had a session today for a client who needed a few business photos taken. I had photographed her family in the fall and have enjoyed getting to know her ever since. I thought it would be a typical photo shoot until she showed up with these (see attached photo) in her purse and asked to borrow some scissors.
I believe it's safe to say the trend is beginning to spread no matter what you nasayers post..... Long live the Opentoe Tube Socks!!
Thanks for the laugh Laurie!

My pictures will follow later...

SHANNON... I was literally laughing out loud when i read your comment because i thought the same thing! What kind of role models are being put before me?!?
Posted by: Amanda | April 12, 2007 at 02:15 PM
Okay...cover what things up? Let me in on the big joke!
Posted by: Laurie Bondick | April 12, 2007 at 03:40 PM
Sara, the half of your face showing looks just like Amanda to me in this picture. Anybody agree? I was trying to figure out if it was really you.
Posted by: Molly | April 12, 2007 at 05:55 PM
I would like to officially welcome Shannon to Sara's blog...and you thought you had to edit my comments. It's a new highlight!
Posted by: Rach | April 12, 2007 at 10:16 PM
Molly, I don't agree at all! It is pretty simple to know it wasn't Amanda for a few reasons. #1 No words needed & #2 Amanda would never wear Aaron's shorts that Sara has on!!! Sara, Aaron needs those shorts back by summer time...
Posted by: Shannon | April 12, 2007 at 11:53 PM
Yes, I think we were on to something by giving Shannon access to this blog. Sorry Sara, but it has really livened things up around here!
Molly you're right - it does look like Amanda.

WOW! Now I see exactly which angle works best on camera. I am trying that pose next time. Thanks Sara.
Posted by: julie | April 13, 2007 at 10:58 AM
Oh my Gosh I'm crying I'm laughing so hard! Those are Aaron's shorts. The good news is you don't have to worry about them going out of style...Aarons been wearing them for a good 10 years.
Sar, guess your not the only trend setter in the family.
Posted by: Rach | April 13, 2007 at 12:00 PM
Leave it to Shannon, what took you so long to comment on the shorts?
I'm so glad that patchwork plaid came back in style. I've missed it. Aaron, on the other hand, has always tried to keep the plaid shorts cool by wearing them each and every summer. Aaron it may be time to get a new pair, now that you can find them in the stores again.
So apparently the upward camera angle is good for the chest (thus all the comments), but not so good for the butt and thighs.
And too all those of you that thought I looked like Amanda, a BIG thank you.

This comment is for DREW, remember those plaid pajama pants that sara made you get rid of. I think she kept them for such a time as this and made them into capris. So if you were wondering were your pj's went.... we found them!
SIDE NOTE: Shannon is that you sticking up for me?? This is not a retorical question... I kinda like it, I'm for once not getting the brunt of every joke!
Posted by: Amanda | April 13, 2007 at 12:47 PM
I am not sure how I got pulled into this whole thing & I have not even entered the contest yet. Yes I do recall the plaid shorts...almost as much as the purple sweatshirt, pink "Bad Boyz" swim suit worn by someone else...Shannon. There might be a few other pictures I should submit.
Sara if you need help screening Shannon's IP address give me a call & I can help rid your blog of any rif raf.
Posted by: Aaron | April 13, 2007 at 01:01 PM
Although it is in question that the pink "Bad Boyz" swim suit was ever in style...atleast Shannon new when to say when. The plaid shorts stuck around way to long! In fact I'm not sure why we're using past tense.
Posted by: Rach | April 13, 2007 at 01:33 PM
Whatever happen to the people who visited my blog to look at my photos? I believe my family has scared them all away!!
Posted by: sara anthony | April 13, 2007 at 02:12 PM
I almost cringe saying this because I think Aaron probably has a picture but I don't think I ever had a "Bad Boyz" suit. Aaron don't make me pull out pictures of you cross stitching with your cabbage patch doll while getting a perm!
Remeber Amanda...you are the "BEST" Deckrow!!
Posted by: Shannon | April 13, 2007 at 02:15 PM
That's fine Manda can be the "Best" Deckrow. I never claimed to be the "Best"
Posted by: Rach | April 13, 2007 at 03:09 PM
Photos and maybe even some videos that could easily be posted. To Sara's blog of course since that is where all of the controvery seems to be. I think she was going for Oprah with this post & got Jerry Springer.
I knew I was opening a can of worms with my last comment, because for everything I thought of to say I remembered several that could be used against me.
I am not sure where Rachel's loyalty lies. Do I have to remind you that your last name used to be Deckrow.
Sara according to isp.webopedia the definition of a troll is --> troll:(1) To deliberately post derogatory or inflammatory comments to a community forum, chat room, newsgroup and/or a blog in order to bait other users into responding.
You may have one on your blog.

Her loyaties lie with a 16' 4-Winns!!
I am a troll that is going on Vacation next week so you all can go back to your boring blog where everyone tells Sara how great she is.
SEE YA!!!!!!!!!!

Sara I don't mean to be harsh but when you wanted to start this whole blog thing, i believe that your exact wording was, "It will be a way for my FAMILY to stay intouch with my life when im in Georgia." I think that statement forfits your right to complain. Love You!

Shannon
I hope you plan on entering the contest before you leave for vacation. You are a man of your word, right?!
