Lots of Boys.
I've been photographing families of all boys a lot lately. I've truly enjoyed it. These boys were no exception and they all have amazing eyes to boot!
Northern Love
I just returned from a successful photo trip to Michigan. The weather could not have been better to shoot in, the crispness in the air and the sun shining. I love Michigan in the fall.
My pro bono project, AKA my sister's engagement session, was the last of my shoots while traveling. It will however be the first post because she nags the loudest. When I returned home on Monday evening she was the first phone call I received. Not to see if I arrived safely, but to see if I'd posted the pictures yet.
They are a beautiful couple and I am looking forward to shooting their wedding next year.
Nice job keeping your eyes open Josh. You're becoming a pro and this modeling thing.

Oh, and one more thing..... I have a new addition to my face that I picked up in my travels. Something I've been wanting to do for awhile.

One of my cousins from Michigan has a couple nieces that live in Atlanta. My cousin gave a photo session by Sara Anthony Photography as a gift to her nieces.

An amazingly talented artist and HS senior spent the afternoon with me a few weeks back. I love working with creative people; it's so inspiring.
Networking at its Finest
Last year at the Image is Found Shootshop I met a fellow photographer, Amy. Since then we’ve become photog. buddies and have attended a few more workshops together. Our most recent was the fabulous Free to Succeed tour where we were encouraged to connect with other photographers and “share the love”. We were both inspired by this concept and talked that evening about ways we could implement that into our businesses.
Fast forward a few weeks from then... I get a call from a well known ATL magazine, Jezebel, at 7am . They need a photographer to shoot a celeb. before she flies out to LA that afternoon. They say, Amy gave us your name. She can’t do it and thought maybe you could. I could and I did.
Meet Nathalie Kelley. She’s was cast in The Fast and the Furious II and Loaded. She was a pleasure to work with and amazing to photograph.
Thanks Amy for sharing the love. I hope I can bless ya back soon. You’re the real deal girl!!
